Byron Bay Wedding Photography – Brett and Kirsty – teasers

Byron Bay Wedding Photography – Brett and Kirsty – teasers

It was a romantic rainy day in paradise the day Kirsty and Brett were married, their gorgeous kids aside them all the way, with

There was lots of emotional tears all around, the rain made it such an intimate gathering.

The Earth house in Clunes, Byron Bay gave us a spectacular backdrop with clouds rolling through the valleys off in the distance.

Kirsty wore a stunning Grace Loves Lace dress and her elegant and very fragrant Bouquet was by the talented French Petal. The energy was high as the rain came down, thanks to the always charismatic Ben Carlyle.

Everyone dined on lovely food by The Fig Tree and danced the day away to great tunes by North Coast Entertainment.

Thank you guys and also to all your friends and families, for having Pete and I along on such a wonderful day.

I hope these few teasers captured just a brief glimpse of what your day was all about.

More to come soon.

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Chris and Amelia

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Chris and Amelia – Earth House

I love Byron so much, I long to be there so I can truly tell myself I am a Byron Bay Wedding Photographer.

I get down there a lot though, so I’m close!?

Well Pete Oakman, my partner in crime, and I got down, and back to the epic Earth House last weekend. The sweetest lovebirds Amelia and Chris were married, under the fig tree, on a just beautiful Byron Bay sunny winters day….What a Kiss!!

These two Met on tinder! They fell in love with each others love of travel, snow, good times and great food. 3 and a half years and a kitty cat named Rosie later, now they are together forever.

Thank you for such a wonderful day guys.

I hope these few teasers keep you excited for whats to come soon.

The stunning Earth House is also featured in our favourite wedding venues in the Byron area.

Thanks once again to Munro for the perfect venue, 100 Mile Table for the mouth watering food, the always smiling Cara Gallagher for the beautifully spoken ceremony, the girls from The Events Co for a perfectly co-ordinated day, the boys from McGee Entertainment for the awesome tunes and Wilderness Flowers for the mind blowing flowers! There is just so much talent in the Byron Shire. *love*

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Light Pictures – Best of 2017

2017 was one crazy year.

Our first year where we booked out, something we are extremely proud of.

We changed our business name, that was and still is an intense experience, one we would not recommend.

We traveled to some beautiful parts of the world and shared some very special days with some amazing people. We feel so privileged, to be able to be a part of these very special days in peoples lives, the trust we have been given and the love we have both given and received whilst doing what we love to do

Many thanks to all the support along the way. Special thanks to my sister and partner Hannah for all the love, support, encouragement and of course her amazing photos. Also big thanks to my favourite second shooters, Pete Oakman and Rachael Muller, and to all the amazing and talented vendors and wedding planners we have had the pleasure of working along side.

We are looking forward to 2018 with eyes wide open. Our brother Damien will be joining us too, making it a full on family business extravaganza.

Below are my favourites of the year, in no particular order.

I guess it’s quite plain to see that I like a wide angle shot, I guess something to embrace considering I love capturing the surrounding beauty of the lovely places we find ourselves in.

Hoping they show you the love that they brought to us and our couples.

Bring on 2018!!

And why not a little music to cruise on through to?

My fave song of the year.

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Damien and Laura – sneak peek

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Damien and Laura – sneak peek

It was great to get back to the beautiful Byron View Farm last Saturday, with these two, Damo and Laura, so much fun.

What an stunning day we had in the Byron Bay hinterland sun.

We also walked around the gorgeous Victoria’s at Ewingsdale, such a photographers delight!

Laura is wearing a spectacular Made with Love lace gown and the elegant bouquet is by Wilderness. Damo is looking very dapper in his blue Hugo Boss suit!

Also, once again a big thanks for the fabulous service and eye to detail all the crew at Honeywed!

You’ll see the whole story soon but for now here are a couple of my faves…

It IS romantic for it to rain on your wedding day, really. As you can see, these two love birds embraced it and lapped it up!

Just a few of my faves from this beautiful rainy day Byron Bay wedding of Leigh and Nikita, at the always beautiful Fig Tree Restaurant.

Thanks for having me along for the ride guys!
