Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Joe and Amy – a few teasers

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Joe and Amy – a few teasers

My first visit to Elements, simply put “a lush tropical escape in Byron Bay”. There is the beach, the VIEW, the rain-forest!….and the friendly and very helpful staff.

The food was outstanding! Truffle mushrooms…

And then there were these two “Joe and Amy” who just plonked themselves into the scenario, “apparently” getting “married” or something *raised eyebrow*

…Well yes, they did. I should note that in my “professional opinion”, they did it in class.

I love you guys, much. You were (and no doubt still are, and will always be) two so very genuine souls, so VERY much in love, nothing in between.

Thankyou.

I hope these few pics keep you drooling for a while 😉

There’s also a few local and very talented vendors and/or people that should be thanked and noted from these few pics.

Jon @ Forever Kombis – a true gentleman, a very suave Byron standout, and a great ’64’ Van.

Poppy and Fern – for the once again, absolutely breathtaking flowers! They never cease to amaze me with something completely different EVERY time!

Stone and Wood – that beer you drink when you come to Byron, because it’s like, one of the best beers in the world!

Pelicans – no website yet, but I’m sure there is some marketing potential there somewhere….entrepreneurs?

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Damien and Laura – sneak peek

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer – Damien and Laura – sneak peek

It was great to get back to the beautiful Byron View Farm last Saturday, with these two, Damo and Laura, so much fun.

What an stunning day we had in the Byron Bay hinterland sun.

We also walked around the gorgeous Victoria’s at Ewingsdale, such a photographers delight!

Laura is wearing a spectacular Made with Love lace gown and the elegant bouquet is by Wilderness. Damo is looking very dapper in his blue Hugo Boss suit!

Also, once again a big thanks for the fabulous service and eye to detail all the crew at Honeywed!

You’ll see the whole story soon but for now here are a couple of my faves…

Byron Bay Wedding Photography – Best of 2016

Byron Bay Wedding Photography – Best of 2016

2016 was a year full of colour and culture. We also saw some of the most beautiful parts of the world, this makes us thankful every day that we are so privileged to be able to do what we do.

It was also the start of Light Pictures taking it’s next step towards being a family business with my sister Hannah joining me as my main partner in crime. Big thanks to Hannah for so much support in all the good times and also in the tough times.

Most of our work is now in Byron Bay which is where we aim to be centralised in the coming years. Byron is where our hearts are and where all the inspiration comes from, it really is the best part of Australia in our humble opinions.

Also a big thanks to my fave 2nd shooter Rachael Muller, couldn’t have gotten through it without her!

Thanks to my two little tykes Louis and Layla, for giving me huge purpose in this world, and to Jane for being a great mum.

Below are my favourite pics of what was a big year, in many ways.

We hope you enjoy the flashback as much as we did making these moments in time.

Very much looking forward to being a part of our couples’ big days in the coming 2017… and beyond!
