Sydney Wedding Photography – Paul and Laura – a few frames

Oh, beautiful old Sydney Town!  I’m so thankful that I get to travel whilst doing what I love.

Last weekend I got back to my old stomping grounds. I remember collecting Razor Clam shells as a kid, in the stunning spit area, whilst my dad was sailing.

I love where I grew up.

Thankfully, these two lovebirds Paul and Laura decided to get hitched just there.

They started their day out on the Northern Beaches, said their vows and sealed the deal with a kiss in a cute church nearby.

After their cute prance down the aisle together, we (the 10 strong bridal party and I) headed down to the Spit for some waterside photos.

Laura you looked just stunning in your detailed Abbey Bridal dress, and Paul of course fit you as the perfect accessory. He’s not a bad bloke to marry either, well done to you both.

The reception at Zest was a lot of fun too, thanks for having me along.

Thank you for the whole day, for my adventure to Sydney, you guys were perfect.

Just a few teasers below for now, more to come very soon though.

Sydney Wedding Photography – Rebecca and Todd’s little flashback!

Sydney Wedding Photography

These two met on a dance floor (with some stars) and were still on a dance floor (under lots of stars) when Pete and I left them last weekend.

Here’s a few moments in between all that. Below is some of the day that Rebecca and Todd joined hands together to head out onto the dance floor of The waltz of life.

These two are now one. They are so in love. They can conquer the world together.

We had such an awesome and crazy, yet exhilarating, weekend down in my old home town, the beautiful Sydney.

Thank you for allowing us to share some time with your awesome friends and families on such a hugely important day in both your lives, even with some Black Swans, smoke, the sun (we get enough of that up this way, but we love it) and the much needed rain (we don’t get so much of that). And even with quite an angry, yet I found also mildly amusing?, resident (who may be either smoke or colour intolerant, or both I think – he should get that looked at *winks*).

Life’s not so hard really, with all these first world problems we have out our front doors is it? No. 🙂

Thanks for having Pete and I along, Bec and Todd. We are proud togs, smiling. 🙂

I have just had so much fun reliving your day while surfing through all mine and Pete’s photos of the whole day, picking the keepers, crying with embarrassment at some of the rest, laughing at you guys for a lot as well (with you I meant), I felt I needed to share a few more than just a couple this time…I like to change it up now and then.

Hope you like these until the rest come your way very soon.

Sydney Wedding Photography – Jordan and Kate – First look

A ‘First look’ brought Love, Energy and Anticipation to the start of Kate and Jordan’s huge day. I love that.

These two have so much love for each other, the way they connect when they even get close is just contagious.

The gods must have had a tough night before Candy and Ruffy’s big day. Pete and I drove down from QLD through bush-fires, sweltering heat and with the prediction of 50km/h winds the next day, we were braced for a crazy day.

Well it was one crazy day, but the force was strong!
Here’s a few elements to give you an idea.

Winds 50km/hr
Tree down blocking the road to reception
Chainsaws
Airport delays
No mobile reception
Calm groom
Friends chipping in
‘The cottage’ of Cottage point
Kuring-gai Motor Yacht Club
Calming deep breaths
Cute flower girls and page boys
Ancestral Veil
Epic flowers by The Brides collection
Winds still blowing  – up to 100km/hr  – forecast to be the worst at 3:30
Celebrant Maureen Boyle getting everyone in the moment – with speaker on Max!
Beautiful vows
Candy’s mum put on her engagement ring after the wedding rings
Stunning wooden Boats
Walking in the water – bridal party and photographers
Sand island
Did I mention windy?
Sunset photos on a cliff
Full moon
Festoon lights

Epic band – Thanks Sly Dogs
Power blackout
Great speeches by phone light
Lights back on
Drink the night away…

Sydney Wedding Photography – Paul and Ash – A few frames…

Sydney Wedding Photography – Paul and Ash – A few frames.

The awe inspiring and majestic St Mary’s Cathedral. Wow, what a church!

And so Ash marries Paul. Lovers and partners for a long time, now joined together. They did this in front of their friends and family, and God. They said “I do!”

We nudged aside the asian paparazzi out the front of the cathedral to grab a few pics there, then headed up to Observatory Hill for the sunset. This is one of the best places for Sydney Wedding Photography, especially if you want to capture the sunset.

Thanks to Sydney for being on your best behavior on this very momentous day in two wonderful peoples lives.

Thankyou to Pier One for hosting a spectacular reception and for the great food and service and for the support you gave to Ash and Paul.

Hope you guys like these few for now.

More to come soon.

Sydney Wedding Photography – Toby and Natalie – Teasers

Sydney Wedding Photography – Toby and Natalie – Teasers

Natalie and Toby were married with kind words by the lovely Shelley Tunbridge on a little reserve by Pittwater, in Palm Beach, Sydney.

What a dramatic backdrop Sydney put on for us all on their special day!

Nat is wearing a very elegant gown by KJ Bridal, Toby and his grooms-brothers donned custom suits by Pink Lotus, what a perfect match!

So much class! So much love, romance, the weather changing every second, the sun popped out, clouds blew in, what a roller-coaster ride!

Everyone partied the night on at Dunes, Palm Beach, the food is soooo darn good!

Thanks Toby and Nat, for having me along, and for being so hospitable, it was a lot of fun!

A few pics here of the day, an attempt to show off the intensity and love of your day, more to come soon.
