Sydney Wedding Photography – Rebecca and Todd’s little flashback!

Sydney Wedding Photography

These two met on a dance floor (with some stars) and were still on a dance floor (under lots of stars) when Pete and I left them last weekend.

Here’s a few moments in between all that. Below is some of the day that Rebecca and Todd joined hands together to head out onto the dance floor of The waltz of life.

These two are now one. They are so in love. They can conquer the world together.

We had such an awesome and crazy, yet exhilarating, weekend down in my old home town, the beautiful Sydney.

Thank you for allowing us to share some time with your awesome friends and families on such a hugely important day in both your lives, even with some Black Swans, smoke, the sun (we get enough of that up this way, but we love it) and the much needed rain (we don’t get so much of that). And even with quite an angry, yet I found also mildly amusing?, resident (who may be either smoke or colour intolerant, or both I think – he should get that looked at *winks*).

Life’s not so hard really, with all these first world problems we have out our front doors is it? No. 🙂

Thanks for having Pete and I along, Bec and Todd. We are proud togs, smiling. 🙂

I have just had so much fun reliving your day while surfing through all mine and Pete’s photos of the whole day, picking the keepers, crying with embarrassment at some of the rest, laughing at you guys for a lot as well (with you I meant), I felt I needed to share a few more than just a couple this time…I like to change it up now and then.

Hope you like these until the rest come your way very soon.

Sydney Wedding Photography – Jordan and Kate – First look

A ‘First look’ brought Love, Energy and Anticipation to the start of Kate and Jordan’s huge day. I love that.

These two have so much love for each other, the way they connect when they even get close is just contagious.

Pete and I thought we would show off your whole first look for you, Kate and Jordan…and a few others as well. What a day!

Pilu at Freshwater was just awesome, perfect location, great food, nice and intimate…nice choice guys!

Hope you like this sneak peek of what is just one awesome day. And thank you for having us along, for the trust, for being so easy going and down to earth. You two are cool, and will do great things together.

Blue Mountains Wedding – Dave and Ash – Megalong Valley

It was lovely to get back to the area I was born and grew up in, the stunning Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.

Ashley married David at the beautiful Dryridge Estate Winery out in the Megalong Valley, with The Great Dividing Range surrounding them.

The weather was chaotic yet addictive, windy and calm, rainy with stars to finish.

Ash is wearing an elegant beaded gown by one of my favourite designers Karen Willis Holmes, Ash what a stunner you are!!

Dave is in a very cool, blue M.J. Bale Suit, and he and the boys have custom Peggy and Finn Ties and pockets with Australian native prints, matching the handmade bouquets with all of the Aussie fauna included.

Dave’s wedding band is extremely custom made by Zoe Pook, featuring a surround of meteorite and Ash’s fingerprint hand engraved into the middle…what a ring!

Ash and Dave, thanks for having me along on your wonderful day, for the trust and inspiration, for having such welcoming and hospitable families and friends. I will never forget your day.

I hope you like these few teasers for now. More to come soon.

Country Style Wedding – Narbeh and Talin – Somersby NSW

Talin and Narbs are no longer two people, they are ONE!

They married each other on a stunning property, The Somersby Stables, in Somersby NSW, what a place!!

The huge barn was seriously decked out with flowers galore, by the very talented Piccolo Petalo, there will be more to come of that later.

Talin and Narbeh joined with vows that were both humorous but also brought us all to tears. Kind words said by a dear friend of theirs who married them all but a few legal must gets.

I love these two, so kind and thoughtful, always worrying about everyone else instead of kicking back and enjoying their huge epic ride that was their wedding day. But lucky Pete and I were there to snap a few pics of the day in case they missed anything.

Talin is wearing a very elegant Alyssa Kristin gown from Love Marie Bridal Boutique and Narbs looked very dashing in his perfectly fitting blue suit by Brent Wilson – what a perfect match!

So much class!

So much love too, and romance, and the weather was superb. Thanks Sydney for putting it on for all of us on their special day!

Everyone partied the night on in the barn, lots of Armenian charm on the dance-floor, and the food by Sprout was soooo darn good!

Thanks Talin and Narbs, for having Pete and I along, and for being so hospitable, it was a lot of fun!

A few pics here of the day, an attempt to show off the intensity and love of your day, more to come soon.

Somersby is one beautiful location that’s for sure, but there is also a great feature we have done on another epic part of NSW just over HERE. Please, do have a look.

  • Talin Abovian - So, so, SO incredibly chuffed and honoured to have had the pleasure of meeting, working with and being shot by Matt and Pete. Holy moly – what truly amazing photographers, and they took all the time to not only snap the day but also to scout out the perfect locations on the property, getting just the right shot at just the right moment. I mean, the one on the lake – breathtaking.
You both fit right in to our families too 🙂 loved by one and all! ReplyCancel

  • Lachlan - What a stunning testament to a special day! These are eminently beautiful photographs. Wonderful stuff! ReplyCancel

Sydney Wedding Photography – Dan and Candice AKA “Ruffy and Candy” – Cottage Point, NSW

Sydney Wedding Photography

The gods must have had a tough night before Candy and Ruffy’s big day. Pete and I drove down from QLD through bush-fires, sweltering heat and with the prediction of 50km/h winds the next day, we were braced for a crazy day.

Well it was one crazy day, but the force was strong!

Celebrant Maureen Boyle getting everyone in the moment – with speaker on Max!
Beautiful vows
Candy’s mum put on her engagement ring after the wedding rings
Stunning wooden Boats

Southern Highlands Wedding – Jade and Sid – preview

Southern Highlands Wedding – Jade and Sid – Bendooley Estate, Berrima NSW

Southern Highlands Wedding Photography

Jade and Sid join together as one, on a breezy spring day, in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW.

You are two of the very loveliest humans I’ve met in a long time, such a pleasure to be around.

Your day was full of love, laughter, dancing, great food and wine, lots of kissing and thoughtful words being spoken all around. Your families were so extremely happy for you two to be spending the rest of your lives together, the tears showed it. I’m so glad you guys found each other, and I am so thankful that I was part of it all, I feel blessed. Jade, what a dress! Oh my you looked stunning!

So lets skip along to the story of the day now for a few sneaky pics.

Sid stands proudly at the amazing historic St. Francis Xavier chapel waiting for his bride to be Jade to join him. A very proud father walks Jade down the aisle to meet her man and gives Jade away, what a moment. What more could a Wedding Photographer hope for than a start like that in such a beautiful old church!

After an amazing ceremony, the party moved to the absolutely epic Bendooley Estate.

Jade and Sid and I managed to sneak off to take a few pics around the Estate, before we all joined their crew to celebrate on into the night.

You guys were blessed with a gorgeous spring day in wonderland. It sprinkled down for one short moment (what I think was God shedding a tear of happiness for you) then the sun shone on us for hours as we wandered around one of the best wedding venues in Australia. The sun went down and the sky was full of stars.

One truly memorable day. Thank you, thank you to you two!

For now here are a few teasers that caught my eye when browsing through the story of your day. Hope you like. More to come soon!
